North Berkeley Housing Partners (NBPH) are a team of developers, designers, and engineers leading the redevelopment of the North Berkeley BART Station in partnership with the City of Berkeley and BART. The team is led by East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC), Insight Housing, and AvalonBay Communities. Selected via a competitive RFP process in 2022, NBHP's Master Plan development envisions transforming the surface parking lots at the North Berkeley Station into a vibrant, mixed-use urban development with over 700 new units of housing, public open space, community serving retail and businesses, and increased multi-modal transportation. 

The Master Plan is planned in two phases. Phase I projects will be situated on the east side of the Station and comprise three multi-family buildings on Lots A, B, and D, and the public plaza and open space on Lot C. Phase II projects will be situated on the west side of the Station and include multi-family buildings on Lots F and E, as well as town homes along Acton and Virginia. 

In addition to the creation of new housing, NBHP plans to connect the Ohlone Greenway through the North Berkeley Station, improve pedestrian and transit infrastructure, and create new and green third-spaces for the larger North Berkeley community.
